Effects of Acetylcholine, Neostigmine and Atropine on the Isolated Uteri of Neostigmine Treated Rats

Abstract
|
|
|
The administration of Acetylcholine, Neostigmine and Atropine on the isolated uteri of Neostigmine treated rats has revealed the following effects.
1. The isolated uterus of virgin rat produced slight increase of amplitude and ascent of the uterine motility by 10-8 Acetylcholine and actions of Acetylcholine were always blocked by 10-4 Atropine,but increased amplitude of uterine motility by the administration of 10-4 Neostigmine.
2. Ascent of tonus, increase of amplitude and severe contraction of uterine motility by Acetylcholine on the isolated rat uterus was markedly ascended asccording to the increase of Neostigmine treated day and actions of Acetylcholine were always blocked by 10-4 Atr3pine, but increased amplitude of uterine motility by the administration of 10-4 Neostigmine.
3. Effects of Neostigmine on the isolated rat uterus was markedly depressed according to the increase of Neostigmine treated day, but actions of Neostigmine were markedly increased the response of uterine motility by atropine after administration of Nestigmine.
